Microsoft announced Unlimited storage for both OneDrive and OneDrive for Business.
Microsoft is rolling out this update to users of Office 365 Home, Personal, and University customers first. The rollout will take several months to complete but the process is starting today. You can wait for your subscription to be updated or you can go and signup at http://preview.onedrive.com and put yourself at the front of the list.
Other Office 365 subscriptions like the Enterprise plans and business plans will get upgraded in 2015. Make sure you have the “First Release” option turned on in your Office 365 tenant to get the update first..
OneDrive, Microsoft’s consumer version of its cloud storage, will be increased from 15 gigs to unlimited immediately, while the update for OneDrive for Business will be increased from 1 TB per user to unlimited at a later date. Any user can sign up for OneDrive at http://ondrive.live.com while OneDrive for Business comes with Microsoft’s Office 365.
